Are wrist bands impressive for sea sickness?
Tried it; useless.
I can't answer that, but eye patch are. Astronauts in the space station discovered that motion-sickness nausea be much less if they would hold on to one eye covered. The reason is that nausea usually originate when the brain has trouble processing contradictory signals from the eyes and body--when your eyes report you one thing and your body tell you another. Having to deal near the signals from only one eye instead of two is easier for the brain.
