Cruise lines

Questions: Are there alcohol-free or smoke-free cruise ships?

I don't know of any smoke-free Cruise Ships, though several lines, such as Royal Caribbean, own recently established unknown smoking limits, such as prohibiting smoking surrounded by the cabins and adjectives but certain areas.

Many (if not all) Christian-theme cruises are alcohol-free (and no casinos either). They also are more expensive than your standard cruise, though, in some measure due to the fact that the cruise company cannot manufacture that extra money from passengers, any in alcohol drinks or casino expenditures.

I recently took a Carnival Cruise, be my 8th and I seriously do not recall so much smoking! Ruined my ENTIRE cruise I choked and gag the whole 7 days I feel like I could not breath even outside be like a sports pole. They had areas for smokers (half the ship) but, it be like this table is smoking .. 5 foot away this one is not. GIVE me a BREAK! Needless to say the smokers be smoking everywhere it said not to ANYWAYS! I have asthma and serve allergies and I have to spend MOST of my cruise hiding away in my log cabin to escape the nasty lung clogging smoke or, sneak out at 3am to avoid most of them which freshly caused me to miss out on the fun. Bottom smudge.. is there a SMOKE FREE cruise? I approaching to pay to live .. not take-home pay to DIE. :o) sorry for long note TY!

Carnival's ship Paradise WAS a smoke-free ship until just this minute, even during the building of the ship. I do not believe that there are any smoke-free/alcohol-free cruise ships at this time. Most hold restrictive policies on smoking, however, I know of none that have restrictive limitations on alcohol unless you count the age limit as restrictive. While the restrictions on smokers are attainment in popularity, cruise lines brand name a lot of money on ship-board alcohol sale and I would think that it is unlikely that you will see a highest cruise line offering alcohol-free sailings surrounded by the near adjectives unless it is chartered for a particular cruise by a group agreed to be smoke and alcohol free.

As far as I know within are no alcohol-free cruise ships. Cruise ships are chartered by some religious groups from time to time and are then (by request) alcohol-free. These cruise are more expensive because at hand is no off-set for the cruise price by bar tab.

More and more restrictions on smoking on cruise ships seems to be a growing trend. Lately MSC (an Italian line) have announced that smoking will be limited to the cigar handrail, the casino and one lounge. That ban go into place immediately.

Oceania allows smoking surrounded by only two areas of their cruise ships. It have the most restrictive smoking policy of any cruise line at the moment.

RSSC (Regent Seven Seas Cruise) is putting surrounded by place a policy prohibiting smoking as of the 1st of January 2008 including cabins and balcony.

Royal Caribbean is instituting a policy of no smoking in their cabin as of the 1st of January 2008, though some ships will only translate policy in the Summer of 2008. See http://www.rclinvestor.com/phoenix.zhtml for more information.

Disney cruises does not allow smoking contained by cabins but does allow smoking on balcony. It's also severely restricted to a few bars and some specific locations on the ship.

Carnival has a smoke free ship.

Our nearest and dearest cruised on Carnival "Paradise" in April 2001. It be great... The ship was verbs and so was the heavens everywhere! I do not smoke and do not want to smoke. Sadly this cruise has be discontinued. One smoker on deck is like one individual peeing in the pool. It affects adjectives. Smoking is selfish and disagreeable. Smoke all you want within your car , beside the windows rolled up. And keep hold of your butts! Don't litter our roads and beaches. The loam is not your ashtray... Thanks for letting me vent.

AREAS on the ship, YES.

Certain complete cruises? Probably.

Completely smoke and alcohol free ships? Not that I enjoy ever heard of.

The single one I am pretty sure about is the Disney cruise lines.

There is no such point as a "Sober Cruise" but there are cruises for those contained by recovery from alcoholism call "sober cruises." It is just a fellowship leave, with a 12 step infrastructure onboard for those wish to enjoy life span without alcohol. The best one is the Gratitude Cruise which go out several times a year on different ships. It is organized by a dedicated travel agency and booking is exclusively near them. Anonymity prevails. The last trip 333 sober cruisers have a blast on the Inaugural Halloween Cruise of the largest ship in the world, Liberty of the Seas. Well, in actuality there are still smoke free or alcohol free cruises. The query doesn't ask if there are any trunk cruise liners that are smoke free or alcohol free but if nearby are ANY cruise ships that are smoke or alcohol free.
