Questions: I live in Florida, how do I progress about getting the homestead examption on my property taxes? I'm paying the full amount right immediately, can't afford it any more, sure could use a break.

Answers: Not sure how it works in Florida, but within Indiana you go to the Courthouse to the Treasurer's bureau and tell them you want to record your exemptions. I would think it would work in the order of the same contained by Florida. If not, contact your treasurer's office and they should be capable of tell you how to do it.
