A 9-year-old boy in Volusia County, Fla., be charged with freestyle on a school instructor -- the fourth time he has attacked a trainer. What, in your feelings, could change this manner in one so babyish?
A one-on-one behavior analyst next to him at school to document his behavior, later make up a behavioral intervention plan. Behavior is communication. Sometimes, a child have a learning disability or other problem/disability that interferes next to his learning and can become terrifically frustrated. If he is in a punitive environment, the frustration can escalate into aggression. I muse positive behavioral reinforcement would be worth a try, esp with his history. He also may obligation medication if this is a biochemical problem.
Honestly, my first reaction be - a cattle prod - but that is violent behaviour breeding violence.
I don't know what will money his behaviour, but no problem his behaviour should be investigated.
Why does he attack his mentor? Why has this be let shift, so that this is his fourth time? What has be done in days gone by? Just plain old WHY?
Therapy. But it's scary to see one so horrific at such a young age. Can psychoanalysis help if the boy doesn't ponder that what he is doing is wrong especially if his home life consists of belligerence?
It sounds like he is/has be abused at home thus taking it out on other adult information. He needs psychotherapy...
