Wages and Salaries

Questions: A business owner pays himself a weekly salary by business checks from the business is this considered his net?

Since he is the owner, he can take as much or little out of the business as he wishes to. He is not an employee, so does not requirement to be paid as such -- he's paying income taxes on the business as a complete. If he refers to the monies paid out of the business to himself as a "salary", that's fine -- he's the one that who's personal finances are on the vein if the business either succeeds or fail.
