HD (high-definition) Television

Questions: A few days ago a friend set up my Maxent Plasma monitor to a Time Warner DVR (Explorer 8000HD). Everything worked great and he left. A hours of daylight later adjectives channels enjoy a pic but only 20% own sound. What is the problem? Bad DVR? Help!

Apparently the problem be caused by Time Warner sending an update to the DVR. Tech support stated what happen to me is not uncommon.

Did he hook up the 8000HD to a heir for sound? Did he use optical or coax or RCA (red and white). It is possible that your beneficiary is set for Digital only, and will not certify analog. The problem might also be in the setup of your 8000HD (check the audio options). I suspect the channel that work are either adjectives digital or all analog, and your beneficiary is not properly setup.
