Grand Am

Questions: 03' Grand Am, 3.4 V6, started a steady squeal sound, not really loud (like a belt possibly?), then today in that is a low, deep hum nouns coming from my engine. It almost sounds like a hole surrounded by the exhaust but its not. Would this be all related? and any accepted wisdom?

could be the altenator or water pump powerstearing ac steal off the belt an see if it go away/
